Cowans, Sheldon & Co Ltd., Station / Warehouse Crane No. 96. From the Display Board: ‘This crane was built for the Great Western and London North Western Railways for moving goods at Bromfield on the Shrewsbury and Hereford line. When the line was closed in June 1964 the crane was moved to the Earl of Plymouth’s estate in Bromfield where it was used in the water powered timber yard.’ Seen here at the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway’s Cotswold Festival of Steam GWR 175 Celebration, on 5th June 2010.
