Jubliee Class, No. 45699, 'Galatea' at Woodham's Scrapyard, c 1979. Just visible, in the centre of the picture, is the damage done to the centre driving wheels when parts were cut away to enable the locomotive to be moved following a derailment. I once photographed one of the workers at Barry re-rail the trailing pony wheels of a Bulleid Pacific using hand-operated jacks, but I presume that the weight on a driving wheel would be too much for that to work.
