Renfe Unit, No, No. 212M, waiting to depart from the new station at Malaga Airport, for Malaga Central, on 2nd March 2011. These four-car units are articulated on five bogies and have impressive acceleration, suitable for the frequennt stops. This line, called C1, runs between Malaga and Fuengirola. The overhead supply is unusual, in that it is not a suspended wire, but what appears to be a strip of copper, supported by a rigid metal rail of considerable thickness.
