To enable preassembled points and crossings track to be conveyed within the loading gauge Network Rail introduced specialised rolling stock which is here seen empty returning south on 6K05 12.18 Carlisle Yard-Crewe Infrastructure train routed via the S&C from Carlisle and hauled by No. 66053 on 22nd March 2011.
