This is the loco that started the G.M invasion to the U.K way back in 1986. A quater of a centuary later, Class 59/0, No. 59001 'Yeoman Endeavour' complete with American bell, hauls what is believed to be 7A15, 16:16 Merehead-Acton Yard sone train which is seen at Fairwood Junction. Some of the U.K's heaviest trains emanate from the vast quarries of Merehead and Whatley which sometimes comprise of more than 40 wagons and can weigh nearly 4,000 tonnes on 4th August 2011.
