Captured passes the small hamlet of Pirton situated between Lydney and Gatcombe on the Severn estuary, is DBS Class 66/0, No. 66009 atop a lenthy raft of covered Steel wagons forming 6V05, 09:10 Round Oak-Margam working. At the middle point of the picture, the distant Cotswold hills around the Gloucester area can be seen with a light dusting of snow. At the extreme right along the estuary, the well known 'Wetland and Wild fowl trust' of Slimbridge is just seen on 16th December 2011.
