On 23rd March 2012 The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh visited Manchester to attend various royal engagements. DB Schenker Class 67 No. 67026, named 'Royal Diamond' and painted in a unique colour scheme to celebrate Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, leads the train as it arrives at Victoria station, from where the royal couple continued by car. On the rear is 67006 'Royal Sovereign', one of the usual pair of dedicated Royal Train locos.
