New Jersey Transit Class ALP-46 No. 4605 passes Rahway, New Jersey with train No. 3932, the 08:26 Trenton to New York Pennsylvania Station on 3rd July 2012. Ex. Pennsylvania Railroad tracks still retain that companies style of signalling which can be seen on the right of the picture. Each signal designation is formed of two lights - green vertical alignment, red horizontal alignment and yellow 45 degree alignment. Unlike UK signals which have the feathers to denote junctions, here multiple signals are used. In this picture the upper disc controls the primary route while the lower disc controls a turnout and only lights in one of the discs will be illuminated at any one time.
