The south west of England was badly affected earlier this week with torrential rain causing havoc to the transport network. Rail services were severely disrupted causing delays and cancellations. One of the many delayed services is this 4O51 09:57 Wentloog-Southampton liner seen here entering Bristol Temple Meads running 159 minutes late. It had been intended to divert the service via Box, but due to staffing issues it was additionally diverted towards the Bristol Railport. Under somewhat brighter conditions than the morning, 'Freightliner' Class 66/5 No. 66536 wheels the aforementioned service past Bristol East Junction on 21st November 2012.
