English Electric Class 37/4 No. 37429 'Eisteddfod Genediaethol' is pictured at the leading end of the Branch Line Society special 'The Caldon Peak' railtour that emanated from Crewe at 0900 and in its itinerary traversed both the mothballed freight route from Stoke-on-Trent to Caldon Lowe via Leekbrook Junction and also the freight route from Buxton to Dowlow Sidings on Saturday 16 April 1994. This photograph shows the eight-coach train emerging from the short Hindlow Tunnel on the return journey. Classmate No. 37407 'Loch Long' is trailing at the rear of the train but partially obscured.
