Class 47/7 No. 47744 'Royal Mail Cheltenham' looking resplendent in its EWS red and yellow livery is pictured at Wetmore Sidings, Burton-on-Trent on 10th July 2002 with 6D36, a Bescot to Toton working, comprising of only two vehicles. As the train is ready to depart from the sidings it is understood that wagons had already been detached from the train. This locomotive returned to Burton-on-Trent in 2011 to take up residency at the Nemesis Rail Depot but its external appearance now shows the years of weathering it has bestowed since this picture was taken in the summer of 2002.
