LNER 'Thompson' B1 Class 4-6-0 No. 61306 'Mayflower' is pictured as the sun illuminated the scene shortly after a torrential rainstorm resulting in the appearance of a colourful rainbow as it approached Clay Mills Junction, Burton-on-Trent on Monday 13th May 2013 with a support coach in tow. The locomotive was en-route from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to its home base at Washwood Heath, working at 5Z81, 07:45 Grosmont to Washwood Heath Met. Cammell. The B1 4-6-0 had been a guest locomotive working on the preserved railway during the NYMR's 40th Anniversary Gala that was held over the previous weekend.
