The photograph shows The Railway Industry Memorial at the National Memorial Aboretum, at Alrewas, Stafforshire on 5th July 2013. The Railway Industry Memorial depicts a sculpture by H. L. Perfitt of Diss of a Class 8F 2-8-0 steam locomotive carved out of black granite. This memorial was commissioned by the British Transport Pensioners Federation (BTPF) and dedicated in a ceremony led by Maurice Holmes OBE (Chair of the BTPF) on 22nd May 2012.
