Class 27 No. 27041 is pictured at Inverness 21st April 1984. Note the position of the number, it was put on at Derby when the '27' was in for repair, the normal Scottish position being between the door and the BR Logo. The loco began life as No. D5405 28th July 1962 and was withdrawn on 12th May 1986, being cut up at Vic Berry of Leicester three years later.
