On a dreadful wet and miserable day Arriva Trains Wales Class 158 No. 158836 brightens the gloom as it approaches Barmouth with a Birmingham International to Harlech service. It is hoped that through trains to both Porthmadog and Pwllheli will resume along the Cambrian coast later this summer on completion of a new rail and road bridge over the river Dwryd at Penryhndeudraeth on 8th May 2014.
