On 28th May 2014, South-West Trains Class 444 No. 444014 brings up the rear of a ten-coach service from Weymouth to London Waterloo, as it passes through Eastleigh at 11:11, overtaking South-West Trains Class 450/0 No. 450026, which is waiting at Platform 1 (left) to depart a few minutes behind the faster service. The faster train arrives at Waterloo at 12:20, the slower train, which has six stops en-route to London, compared to three for the faster service, arrives at 12:34.
