On the secondary line between Bloemfontein and Bethlehem an unrecorded SAR Class 15F brews up in the station before departure from Sannaspos, the first station east of Bloemfontein on an early morning Bethlehem bound working.This route of some 190 miles had a reasonable number of both freight and passenger trains and it was the practice by enthusiasts to follow the train by car as the journey occupied almost the whole day between Bloemfontein and Bethlehem on 4th June 1985.
