Class 33's No. 33047, recently named 'Spitfire' and in Civil Engineers Dutch livery, and No. 33053, in Railfreight livery with Construction sector decals, have arrived at Hereford with a special working from Basingstoke for the Hereford Rail Festival on 5th May 1991. No. 33047 was withdrawn in February 1993 and cut up 4 years later, but No. 33053 survives, preserved at the Mid-Hants Railway.
