Class 55 No. 55012 Crepello awaits a crew change at Newcastle during the inaugural run of The Silver Jubilee service - the 07:45 from King's Cross to Edinburgh on 8th June 1977. The driver seen walking up the platform to take the train forward to Edinburgh is none other than my dear and sadly missed late Dad, Driver Albert Edward Gilmour, of Gateshead MPD.
