Merchant Navy Class Pacific No. 35017 Belgian Marine at Bournemouth shed on 29th March 1964. The locomotive is being prepared for its next duty which will be hauling the Bournemouth Belle Pullman to London Waterloo. Behind it is West Country Class No. 34040 Crewkerne and alongside is another unidentified Merchant Navy Class. Belgian Marine was withdrawn in July 1966 and scrapped the same year. Crewkerne survived until the end of steam and was withdrawn on 31st July 1967 and cut up at Cashmores, Newport in 1968.
