Shortly after leaving Sedrun, the last major settlement in the Upper Rhine Valley before the climb to the watershed at the Oberalp Pass, Furka Oberalp Bahn Class HGe4/4 No. 104 heads a short formation 8.54 Zermatt-St Moritz Glacier Express B on 27th October 1991. Close to this point the new Gotthard Base Tunnel passes 5000feet below. The Furka Oberalp Bahn has since amalgamated in 2003 with the Brig Visp Bahn to become the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn.
