Trains between Worcester and Hereford were disrupted over the weekend for urgent track repairs.
A spokesman for Network Rail said: "A signaller at Malvern Wells reported that fishplates, which are steel plates that secure the ends of two rails together, were broken. This led to trains to or from Ledbury unable to run on the single line."Â
Meanwhile, services between Malvern and Ledbury were suspended while urgent track repair work was carried out. Buses operated between Hereford and Worcester Foregate Street.
After terminating at Ledbury, three-car Class 170/6 Turbostar No. 170630 is about to depart with the 10:59 West Midlands Trains service to Birmingham New Street on 24th March 2018.
