Trains between Worcester and Hereford were disrupted over the weekend for urgent track repairs. A spokesman for Network Rail said: "A signaller at Malvern Wells reported that fishplates, which are steel plates that secure the ends of two rails together, were broken. This led to trains to or from Ledbury unable to run on the single line."  Meanwhile, services between Malvern and Ledbury were suspended while urgent track repair work was carried out. Buses operated between Hereford and Worcester Foregate Street. Class 170/6 Turbostar No. 170632 is seen terminating at Ledbury with the West Midlands Trains 09:49 service from Birmingham New Street, while classmate No. 170630 waits to depart on the single track with the 10:59 service to Birmingham New Street on 24th March 2018.
