EE Class 55 'Deltic' No. 9007 'Pinza' passes Heck with a Scottish express on 20th July 1972. The land to the left of the picture is now occupied by the Plasmor building block fctory and sidings, and is also the site of the fatal collision between a southbound express and a vehicle, and subsequent collision with a northbound coal train in which Driver Steve Dunn lost his life.
