Bulgarias LINE M3 on the Sofia Metro following a 4 year contruction period opened the first 7.8 Kilometre section between Krasno Selo and Hadzhi Dimitar to the travelling public on 26th August 2020. Unlike LINEs M1, 2, and 4 which are interlaced LINE 3 is completely independent with its own Depot at Krasno Selo. The line is operated by 30 Siemens Inspiro three-car units, the last of the batch 3060-3059 captured in this image at Ovcha Kupel II working towards Gorna Banya on 4th May 2023. This section of the line extending eastward between Krasno Selo and Gorna Banya was opened to fare paying passengers on 24th April 2021, adding an additional 4 Kilometres of track below ground and four stations to the line.
