On the 19th August 2023, legendary Deltic driver, Harry Wilson, celebrating his century and seen in the wheel chair on the platform at Scarborough station, receives the plaudits from passengers and spectators prior to the departure of Class 55 Deltic No. 55009 'Alycidon', running as long scrapped classmate No. 55013 'The Black Watch', on the returning Coronation Deltic rail charter, from Scarborough to London King's Cross. As Trans Pennine Express Class 68 No. 68020 'Reliance' arrives at Scarborough station on the rear of the 16.04 TPE service from York.
