Om the 14th November 2023, trio of Transnet Class 15E's, with No. 15.008 leading nos. 15.012 and 15.027, await their next duty at Salkor depot, Saldanha in the Western Cape. The 50 kV AC 50 Hz, Class 15E's, are exclusively used on the Orex line to the Sishen iron ore mines in the Northen Cape.
