Plinthed and on public display at the BDZ (Bulgarian State run Railway) Technical University in Sofia is narrow gauge post-war Polish-built Chrzanow 1935/1949 Class 2-10-2T No. 61576. It is known to have worked and indeed been photographed on the now closed Cherven Brjag to Orjahovo line. This image was recorded on 13th May 2023, 47 years after steam traction was replaced by diesels. The Cherven Brjag line was eventually closed to all traffic on 1st October 2002 having been deemed uneconomic to operate.
