The driver of refurbished BDZ PP Electroputere Class 46 No. 46211 looks on as last minute passengers hinder the departure of train service SUB 50241 (11:42) Blagoevgrad to Petrich on 16th May 2023. The location is General Tudorov, a junction where the Petrich branch joins the main line between Sofia and Kulata. Through trains to Petrich usually require a loco swap at this location as the BDZ SKODA locomotives have a higher axle weight to that of the Romanian built Class 46, the relatively short run to Petrich having a weight-restriced bridge en-route.
