During the GWR 175 celebrations the feel of GWR branch line operations were re-created with the use of 0-4-2T No. 1450 together with 2 auto-coaches, Nos 178 and W231, offering the sight of different liveries. This operation was used by the G-WR to take passengers over the Stanway viaduct for the first time in almost 25 years. At 50 ft high and with 15 arches Stanway is the largest viaduct on any UK heritage railway.
