The Steam Dreams 'Cathedrals Express' charter on 15th July 2010 was booked for steam haulage from King's Cross to York and return utilising LNER class A4 'Bittern'. This was due to be the locomotive's first main line working since it's withdrawal due to fire risk. However, the loco was declared a failure, with injector problems the previous evening. The train therefore ran diesel hauled, top-and-tailed by West Coast class 47's. Here, No. 47760 is seen approaching Copmanthorpe, shortly after departure from York on the return run.
