Collett 2-6-2T, No. 5193, lies waiting at Woodham's Scrrapyard, c 1979. One set of driving wheels has been marked '4110' and both this locomotive and its neighbour are painted with an example of the many optimistic 'expressions of hope' that adorned so many of the hulks at that time. This locomotive had an unusual rescue, in that it was re-built in a different form, as a 2-6-0 tender engine, No. 9531.
