Showing the characteristic cylinder arrangement of the 'Hughes-Fowler 6-P/5-F' Class, commonly known as 'Crabs'. This locomotive is probably either 42675 or 42859 which, I believe, were the only two Crabs at Woodham's Scrapyard at the end of the 1970s.
