BR Standard 8P Pacific No. 70000 'Britannia' stands at Warrington Bank Quay having just undertaken its first main line run for over twelve years. The loco ran from Crewe Heritage Centre to Warrington dragging the support coach and a WCR Class 47. The consist remained at Warrington for around an hour while checks were made before returning headed back to Crewe. Later the same day 'Britannia' was due to head for Carnforth in preparation for a loaded test run around the Carnforth Circle the following day.
