The Schwarzenau - Martinsberg-Gutenbrunn line in the Waldviertel area of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich) is quite a busy freight line, trains regularly hauled by 2 and 3 diesels through steep inclines and loveley hills and forests. The passenger trains though will seize to run by mid December 2010 though since the state government is not willing to fund it any longer.
