Continuing investment in the Heart of Wales Line has seen a number of improvements in recent months, including the reinstatement of several passes loops. Meanwhile, level crossings also are receiving attention. Class 66 No. 66006 is seen on the relaid crossing at Pantyffynnon with Pathfinder's 14.30 Llandrindod Wells to Eastleigh, 'The Heart of Wales Rambler' on 19th March 2011.
