The future of Virgin's shuttle runs? This unusual sight of Virgin Super Voyager No.221144 at Crewe is due to the fact that Virgin have canabalised the unit in order to boost 3 four car units to five car units. The two driving cars were dragged from Central Rivers to Crewe to allow training to take place on board, prior to being returned to Central Rivers. This was the view at Crewe on the 2nd July 2011.
