Dunaskin station at the Scottish Industrial Railway Museum is viewed over the nearest track which is the Network Rail line from Dalrymple Jn. The line is the former Dalmellington branch but is currently known as the Waterside Branch. The Network Rail boundary with Scottish Coal is now a short distance to the right of the photo. In the station is the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group's Andrew Barclay 0-4-0ST, NCB Ayrshire Area No. 10 which is operating brake van rides up the headshunt on 29th May 2011 on one of the few operating days of the year.
