Passenger Steam Trains Return to Sittingbourne! For 1st time on the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Railway. since railway was forced to cease operating. Following lengthy negotiations with new land owners. The railway now has a 125 year lease of the track bed. Passenger train services resumed in early June. With newly restored Ker Stuart 'Brazel' Class Locomotive 'Leader'.Following a break of over 30 years, Originally built for the former Bowaters Railway. The newly restored loco is seen with train at Sittingbourne Viaduct on 17th June 2012.
