A new, privately-funded heritage footbridge has been erected at Tan y Bwlch on the Ffestiniog Railway. Intended to recreate a past facility, it is as yet not open to the public when seen here on Wednesday, 13 June 2012. To the left, 'Merddin Emrys' waits to restart as the 11:50 Blaenau Ffestiniog-Porthmadog roster, while a reverse service, hauled by 'Earl of Merioneth', begins its northward climb.
