On the 8th September 2012, recently reinstated, Class 57 No. 57006 approaches Carlisle Station with 1Z42 The Cumbrian Mountain & Coast Statesman. The train had travelled to Carlisle from Aberystwyth and Shrewsbury, via the S&C, Class 47 No. 47580 was attached at the rear.
