In appalling rain and gales on the evening of 30th October 2013, Northern Rail Class 158 No. 158794 is held at Kirkby Stephen. The signaller, who has had to walk along the track through the rain from the signalbox, advises the driver that a preceding coal train has stalled on the final approaches to Ais Gill.
