Tuesday 24th August 1999 finds Class 60 No. 60017 'Shotton Works Centenary Year 1996' wearing EW&S Red and Yellow livery, in Peak Forest sidings Derbyshire at the head of an empty Roadstone train. New in October 1990 to Thornaby TMD on Teeside No. 60017 was originally named 'Arenig Fawr' and was painted in the two tone Grey Trainload Construction livery. Renamed in November 1996 No. 60017 is still current on the Network as June 2014 having been upgraded to Super 60 status by Toton TMD. No. 60017 now carries the DB Cherry Red livery with Schenker Brandings.
