Class 47 No. 47739 arrives at Electro-Motive, Longport on 13th June 2014. This veteran loco is approaching 50 years in service. 47739 was released to traffic as D1615 on 29th August 1964 before being renumbered under TOPS as 47035, then 47594 and then 47739 in August 1998.
