The nameplate of LNER Gresley Pacific Class A4 No. 60024 'Kingfisher' is seen at Glasgow Buchanan Street Station, the locomotive arriving from its home Depot of Aberdeen on 23rd May 1965. The Class A4 nameplates are the most sought after of Railwayana and have commanded auction prices between £20000 to £60000. No. 60024 was withdrawn from service in September 1966, and cut up in February 1967.
