A Gala event at the East Lancs Railway [ELR] in February 2010 presented the rare opportunity of coupling Britannia Class Pacific 70013 Oliver Cromwell with "Duke" Class Pacific 71000 Duke of gloucester for possibly the first time in preservation - if not for the first time ever. The duo are seen climbing away from Bury en route to Heywood on 20th February 2010 as they pass the site of Heaps Sidings.
