UK Railtours' 'Woodhams Phoenix' tour of 22nd August 2015 to the Barry Tourist Railway was the first railtour to reach Barry Island in over twenty years. It was worked from London by two Class 66/0 locomotives, but the run over the causeway to Barry island station was made with the Gatwick Luggage Van No. 9110 leading the 11-coach railtour, propelled by Class 73/1 No. 73118.
