The village of Trun is famous because it was here in 1424 that libery was established in this region of the Rhaetian Alps when the Grey League ( Graubünden) was formed which is still Swithzerlands largest Canton in area though one of the least populated. RhB Class Ge4/4 626 Malans passes the village on the 12 coach 10.55 Chur-Zermatt Glacier Express on 27th October 1991.The formation will be much reduced at Disentis where the RhB makes an end on junction with the largly rack operated Furka Oberalp Bahn(FO)
