The small town of Disentis is dominated by the Benedictine Abbey and is the end on junction between the adhesion worked RhB and the largely rack worked FO and here the 10.55 Chur-Zermatt Glacier Express is changing locos on 27th October 1991.The FO loco Class HGe4/4II No. 105 is attached to a reduced formation for the onward journey as far as Brig where a reversal will see a loco change.
