At 693 yards Greet Tunnel is the second longest tunnel in preservation and here Class 47/3 No. 47376 exits the northern portal on 9th April 2017. The locomotive was purchased from Freightliner in November 2002 and moved to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway in June 2003, via the former Ministry of Defence site at Ashchurch where it received a working engine from fellow Brush Type 4 47295. The locomotive, with its donated engine, began its new life in July 2003.
